Ideally suited for single-site deployments for 250 or fewer users, Fenestrae Faxination Server is Fenestrae’s entry-level product. For larger organizations with multiple locations, and for companies who want to integrate SMS or MMS, Fenestrae Communication Server is the solution of choice.
Key features include; Fax messaging directly to and from any desktop, Windows 2003, 2008 certified, Native integration with Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010, Intelligent routing, Archive to any ODBC database, Bundled transmission of faxes and supports all major fax boards.
"Better than the rest" - Frank Jefferson [August 9, 2004] Product Rating: 5/5
Faxination is not perfect. No fax server software out there is. If they tell you it is, they are lieing. Where Faxination shows its strength is in the quality of its support and dedication to improving the product. We have it installed on over 10 servers around the world for a number of years working day in and day out. Problems do come up and Fenestrae's support goes above and beyond trying to help resolve issues that are not always caused by their product but affected none the less. This alone makes the product worth the investment for me.
"Faxination good one" - Anand Deshmukh [May 6, 2004] Product Rating: 3/5
It's a good product infact. Recently implemeted in couple of our projects and working fine. In addition to it they also have a Communication server package for SMS messaging. The support is fine as long as you have signed support contract, however not much documentation is available on site. But overall it's a stable product.
"Worked once, but no more" - Rob Garner [February 16, 2004] Product Rating: 2/5
Purchased the product 3 years ago and after a lot of effort got it working. Recently tried to move product to a new server with no success even though we have good documentation of original install we just can't get it to talk to the Exchange server.
After a week of getting nowhere started looking for alternative and will try GFI's Faxmaker based on the comments seen here and elswhere.
"Didn't Work" - Benjamin Stein [August 13, 2003]
Purchased the product two years ago, it has never worked. I've spent days on the phone with support and they acknowledge they're having a problem with exchange integration but never have any solutions.
I installed GFI's Faxmaker and it worked completely inside of 20 minutes. A much better product.
